Job Description:
Motorized Precision’s Manufacturing Shop Associate is responsible for preparing equipment and materials for production sales as well as maintaining material inventory, operating general equipment such as forklifts and assisting with bulk manufacturing when necessary. Unboxing inventory and packaging up products and supplies for production safely and efficiently. Updating company database keeping information coming in and going out extremely organized. Working with product suppliers and assuring product are efficiently made. The tasks for this position are primarily assembly related. Maintaining a clean, organized and safe shop environment is also very important. There will be task based training so new hires feel confident in what is being asked of them. The role can be repetitive so the ability to pick up speed and accuracy over time is attainable. This role also has room for advancement.
Responsibilities:

Unbox and pack products safely and efficiently into shipping and delivery containers

Support the integration, assembly, test, and shipment of new systems

Receiving, unpacking and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors as well as arranging, labeling and organizing gear efficiently

Capable of self-managing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

Keeping track of inventory

Ability to lift, push, and pull materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks

Capable of lifting 50lbs + of weights frequently throughout assigned workday

Must be forklift certified or willing to be certified to move or load heavy equipment

Must be detail oriented and organized at all times

Document, label and input critical information into our company database

Team player, willingness to work when needed on specific deadlines

Ability to take initiative and be self sufficient

Must be willing to travel if needed

Must be able to function in a safe manner; observe safety practices at all times

Other activities as directed by the shop manager as well as the President & CEO
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) recommended but not required
-
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-
Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly

Prior cinema or robotic experience is NOT required, but is a plus
-
Experience or interest in computer programming is a plus

Must be self driven and understand that the ideal candidate will primarily be working independently with supervision and help as need in the shop, this position requires someone who can take in information quickly and stay organized as it can be very slow some days and fast paced others
